Later enjoy his brother to go to US. He emigrated just a year later. He worked as a farmer in Germany. The pic shows Christ with about 14 years (probably the Confirmation Picture)

Christian Johann is now listed as a Hiredman (Arbeitsman) probably on some of the peatfarms or normal farms; specially at his father-in-law farm.So he had at this time no own land.
